In this study I created four of the essential parts in any publication, the cover, the contents page, the editor’s letter, and an article.

My concept for RE-UP was to create a publication about music and the urban lifestyle. This would include things like fashion, technology, national events, and current trends. The cover page displays an illustration for one of the main articles, which focuses on profanity in music, and the censorship of it.

The contents and editors letter were designed to express rhythm and movement, which are major elements of music.

The two-page spread consists of an article about the return of rapper turned CEO Jay-Z.
